Good Evening Brothers,

FALL FELLOWSHIP
Fall Fellowship is quickly approaching!
It will be at Camp Coker on October 30th through November 1st, 2015 and it will
be Santee Lodge's Centennial Celebration. This means that we will be reminiscing
on the past 100 years and looking forward to the next 100 years (attending this
event will also fulfill one of the requirements for the Arrowman Service Award,
"Sash Patch"). Jason Woodbury and Colin Hungerpiller have both been working
extremely hard to plan Fall Fellowship. You can look forward to chapter
competitions, cheerful service, good food, ceremonies/inductions, and
fellowship. The chapter competitions for this event will include a pumpkin
carving competition, a race, an eating competition, and a frozen t-shirt
competition. Mr. Spangler and Mr. Bethune have also volunteered to lead a
seminar on patch collection and organization; this will include a brief history
of Santee Lodge patches, information on how to start your collection, and
giveaways! I would like to remind you that you will need to bring a tent.
(Summer Camp tents will not be available). A copy of the Fall Registration form
is attached. Please try to sign-up before October 23, 2015; anyone who signs-up
after the 23rd will be subjected to a $10 late fee.

FRIDAY NIGHT COOKOUT
On the
Friday of Fall Fellowship, Santee Lodge will be hosting its first Friday Night
Cookout. The cost to attend will be $10.00 and will include a steak (which you
get to grill to perfection), salad, and a potato (with butter, cheese, sour
cream, and bacon bits). If you would like to participate you must preregister
by October 23th. Once you have checked into the Fellowship, you will be able to
pick up your steak anytime between 6:00pm and 8:00pm. A copy of the Friday
Night Cookout Registration form is attached.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR ADULTS TO HELP
OUT IN THE KITCHEN FOR THIS EVENT, IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PLEASE LET ME
KNOW.

DUES
I would also like to remind everyone that the 2015 – 2016 Lodge Dues
were due at Summer Fellowship. At this time, we have a large amount of
outstanding dues owed to the lodge. If you have not paid your dues, I encourage
you to do so. You can pay them online on the council website, pay them at the
council office or pay them when you register for Fall Fellowship. If you are not
sure you owe them and would like to know, please email
Santee116lodgeadviser@gmail.com for confirmation. We will also have a list
available at Fall Fellowship to confirm if you do or do not owe your dues. The
cost for your dues is $10.

MEDICAL FORMS
All youth and adults, please remember
to BRING a copy of your completed BSA Medical Form (Part A and Part B) to Fall
Fellowship. If you do not bring a copy, you will be required to fill one out at
registration before you will be allowed to participate. The BSA Medical Forms
are attached below.

WINTER BANQUET
Tim Helaby II, our 2016 Winter Banquet
Chairman, has been working diligently to plan an awesome Winter Banquet. It
will be held in Florence, SC on January 9, 2016. More details to follow soon
concerning location and time. Be sure to save the date!

DIXIE
INFORMATION
Harrison Flowers, our 2016 Dixie Chairman, has requested the
submission of Dixie themes (ie: last year our theme was "Super Santee Returns").
All Dixie themes are to be submitted to Harrison Flowers at
harrisontflowers@yahoo.com before October 16th, 2015. These ideas will be
discussed by the 2016 Dixie Committee and the top two themes will be voted on at
the Fall Fellowship Lodge Business Meeting (October 31st, 2015).

KITCHEN
STAFF
Are you looking to find your fit in the lodge? Do you enjoy helping in a
kitchen and want to continue serving your lodge? Well we need you!!! Steve Eaton
our Kitchen Adviser has asked me to reach out to the lodge adults and express
that we would love to add you to the Kitchen Staff. Feel free to reach out to
Mr. Eaton via email at dwesde@msn.com and discuss this opportunity further.

NEW
SECTION PATCH AVAILABLE
Starting at Fall Fellowship, the Lodge Store will begin
to sell Section Patches. These will sell for $5.00 each and there is no limit
on how many of them you may buy. Roughly half of the proceeds will go to help
support our section, SR-5; the remainder of the proceeds will go to Santee
Lodge. Please see the attached image of the section patch.

ARROWMAN SERVICE
AWARD
I would like to remind all of you about the Arrowman Service Award, also
known as the "Sash Patch". This is a centennial patch that can be worn on your
sash directly above the arrowhead. If you qualify, bring the completed form
with you to Fall Fellowship. Locate our Lodge Adviser Rondal Johnson and have
him sign it. Once he has signed the form, please present it to the Lodge Store
on Saturday with $3 to pick your patch up (forms will not be provided for you to
fill-out when you get there). Santee Lodge has a limited number of patches, so
they will be awarded on a first-come first-serve basis. If we run out, we do
have the ability to order more patches.
