Hi Phillip,

 

I am reaching out to you on behalf of the Annual Myrtle Beach Holiday Parade.  I wanted to extend an invitation to your Scouts to walk in our parade! The parade will be this coming Saturday, December 2^nd and goes around Broadway at the Beach.   We currently have a few Girl Scouts signed up, but no Boy Scout troops.  If you are interested please let me know!  I have included all of the information that you need to know for the event and will be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.  I wanted to reach out to Brenda as well and invite her to be our Grand Marshall for the parade, but I was not sure how to contact her?  Would you be able to either provide an email address, or pass along the invitation?  We would absolutely love if the both of you could join us! 

 

Everybody loves a parade and there’s no better way to kick off the holiday season than by participating in the Annual

Myrtle Beach Holiday Parade hosted by Ripley’s Attractions at Broadway at the Beach. Be a part of Myrtle Beach’s only

Christmas parade and proudly represent your business and your employees as we wish Myrtle Beach a very happy 2017

Christmas Season. This will also kick off a day of fun at A Very Broadway Christmas!

 

Parade Info:

• Line up begins at 9:00am in the parking lot beside WonderWorks.

• All participants must be lined up and in place no later than 10:00am.

• The parade will start promptly at 11am and follow the curb along the interior roads of Broadway at the Beach, with the MC

and main event at Ripley’s Aquarium and ending near Dave & Busters.

• The Broadway at the Beach Release of Liability is included with the packet and MUST BE received by the date of the

parade in order to participate. There must be a waiver returned for EACH PERSON that will be walking, marching, or

riding in the parade.

• Matt Gittins from WBTW will be this year’s emcee for the 3rd year in a row and stationed on the plaza of Ripley’s

Aquarium.

 

 

This annual holiday tradition includes efforts to benefit the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. We ask that

every parade participant bring an unwrapped toy in lieu of a parade entry fee. The toys collected will be provided to the

local Toys for Tots coordinators and distributed as Christmas gifts to needy children within the community.
