Camp Coker Road is Open!

Thank you to SCDOT for their swift action, because Camp Coker Road is open.  Please be advised there is a 40 foot section of gravel road across from the lake.  Please watch your speed.  The state has installed "Loose Gravel" singage.

Cub Scout Neckerchief Slide Recall

Today, the BSA announced a recall of some Lion, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Neckerchief Slides produced with specific lot numbers.  In August 2017, the Pee Dee Area Council ordered very heavy quantities of slides.  The recalled slides were produced from Dec 17 to June 18.  We have not ordered slides again until August of 2018.  Our floor stock does not contain any of the recalled slides.

However the slides we received in August were recalled.  We have accounted for all of those slides.  Only 5 Webelos slides were sold, and they have been replaced.

You can read more about the slide recall here.

Camp Coker canoes used to save lives by Darlington Fire and Rescue

Our canoes were used the by Darlington Fire Department in Dovesville to save the lives of 11 people and 4 dogs.  We are proud to be a community player in support of Hurricane Florence Rescue and Relief Efforts.
