You may have seen Creek Steward, host of "Fat Guys in the Woods" TV show for the Weather Channel. He uses his scout survival skills each week to help three people survive in the woods. He is an Eagle Scout that uses what he learned doing Wilderness Survival Merit Badge to help others start fires, build shelters and find food and water. I talked to him while at the BSA National Conference in Atlanta this spring. Check out what he has around his neck. He proudly supported the NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award which he received that weekend. Not Mike Rowe yet but maybe some day. 8) He looks a lot prettier that me but we do have something in common.

Also in the blog article is a story of one of the oldest Eagles.
