Myrtle Beach wishes us a happy birthday

Tuesday at the Myrtle Beach City Council Meeting Chuck Martino had a proclamation read from the city council wishing the Boy Scouts of America a happy 100th anniversary. On hand to receive the proclamation were the Pee Dee Area Council Scout Executive, Barry McDonald, Jonathan Prat Chicora District Executive, Rick Curran District Commissioner, Bobby Hardin Cubmaster Pack 850 and his Cub Scout son. The Cub had the honor to lead everyone in the chamber in the Pledge of Allegiance. The next time you are at the Council Service Center, ask to see the plaque.
