Our council serves communities in Clarendon, Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Horry, Lee, Marion, Marlboro, Sumter, and Williamsburg counties.
The Council Service Center, which houses both a Scout Shop and the Pee Dee Area Council administrative offices, is located at 702 South Coit Street, Florence, South Carolina, 29501. Their normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Their telephone number is (843) 662-6306 and the facsimile number is (843) 669-4284. Chicora District provides services to Marion and Horry counties.
Roundtable nights are the first Thursday of each month from Launch in August through June the following year.
There are over fifty Boy Scout and Cub Scout units within the district.
The District Training Committee provides initial training for Cub and Boy Scout leaders on a monthly basis. For more information, contact Rusty Horonzy the Training Committee Chairman.
